Atasha Marlee, a 18 year old, country singer from Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Atasha is a full rounded entertainer who can sing, dance, write songs and play guitar. Atasha has a website which to this date has received almost 80000 hits. She has a fanbase ranging in ages from birth to 90 with her main group between ages 10-45 from around the world. Atasha receives fan email on a daily basis and answers each one personally. Atasha has performed in 2004 & 2006 at the renowned Merritt Mountain Music Festival opening for both Anne Murray and Randy Travis respectively and also performed with such great world renowned acts as Brooks and Dunn, Sara Evans, Adam Gregory, Dwight Yoakum, Brad Paisley, The Wilkinson's and many more. Atasha has performed at the Prince George Exhibition, where she did 18 shows over a period of four days, Evergreen State Fair in Monroe, Washington, Abbotsford Berry Festival with the Brent Lee Band, Abbotsford AgriFair with Stan Giles and Crossroads, Beverly Mahood, Ken McCoy, and many more. She is a regular performer at the Abbotsford Berry Festival for the last three years. She has opened for award winning Canadian artists Anne Murray, Aaron Pritchett, Tracey James, Duane Steel and Steve Fox. Atasha stayed in the home of country music, Nashville, Tennessee for three months in 2005 and was signed by Platinum Plus Universal Records and Mr. Robert Metzger. While in Nashville she was busy performing at as many venues as she could including the world renowned Tootsie's on Broadway, Two Rivers Campground, the Cedars of Lebanon State Park where she was a regular performer, The Cracker Barrel Restaurant in Lebanon, TN for the Mother's Day event, a charity event for THIS Cares and many more. Atasha returned to Nashville in 2006 to record her debut album Joy Train. The album, Joy Train, is just now getting released and is already getting buzz from radio both nationally and internationally and has charted as high as number 40 on some charts. She has been nominated for the Teen Vocalist of the Year, the Female Vocalist of the Year, Horizon Award and has won the Rain Idol competition. Atasha performs for many charity functions including Sunshine Dreamz for Kids, The Harvest Project, Travis Foundation (for whom she works with promoter Bob King), RCMP, VanCity Angel Tree, various Christmas bureaus, food banks and was the invited speaker for the National Addictions Awareness Week where she was also the feature performer. She was chosen to showcase at the Regenerations Music Festival. Atasha was chosen from thousands of competitors all over the world to appear at the televised USA World Showcase in Las Vegas, Nevada in March of 2005 at the MGM Grand Hotel and represent Canada.
