Here are some interesting things you may not know about Atasha. Please forward your questions and we may put them on this page.
How old were you when you first performed and when knew you wanted to become a singer?
I was five years old and I was performing at a karaoke stage in a local park for Canada day! I knew from then on that singing was what I needed to do; without music, I don't know what I would do.
If you could change anything in the world what would it be and why?
I would change all the fighting and war. I think that nothing will be solved in this world by being violent; it just makes things worse.
What do you think makes being a teenager tough and what do you think makes it fun?
Peer pressure can definitely make being a teenager tough but everything else is great.
How do you choose your friends and who are some of them?
I don't think I choose my friends, they all just happen to be great people. I don't want to leave anyone out but I will name a few; Lindsey, Hardeep, Brandon, Andrea, Melissa, Kathleen, Kayla P. and many more!
Do you have any pets and if so, what are there names?
I have Two dogs and one cat. The dogs names are Jack and Grizz and the cat's name is Coco!
What is your favourite colour and which one do you absolutely despise?
I don't have a favourite colour!
What will be your ideal vehicle to drive when you drive? Which one will you never drive?
I would like a Chevrolet Silverado. My parents already own one but I would like a new one as well!
Do you like school and why should other teens think the same way?
I like public school but I don't really like home schooling. Other teens should like school because it is the most free part of your life; it's what shapes your life to follow.
Who do you admire most in the world and why?
I admire everyone in my life because they put up with me!
Why do you love performing and writing your own songs?
I love to perform my own songs because it makes the performance even more personal for both the audience and myself. I want to help someone get through or celebrate a part in their life, knowing it was my song that made that possible!
